GK Enchanted Farm

Shoot for DVTech (through Mr. Richard Estuesta) in partnership with GK EF “The GK Enchanted Farm is Gawad Kalinga’s platform to raise social entrepreneurs, help our local farmers and create wealth in the countryside. As we learned that the road out of poverty is a continuing journey and therefore, providing homes is merely the beginning, we also realized that our country is abundant with resources (land included) that we can harness for every Filipino to continuously lead a life with dignity.” http://gk1world.com/gk-enchanted-farm

Siargao Summer 2017

“Siargao Islands is composed of 48 islands and islets-politically divided into nine municipalities: Burgos, Dapa, Del Carmen, Gen. luna, Pilar, San Benito, San Isidro, Santa Monica, and Socorro.Siargao Island contains the largest mangrove forest reserves in Mindanao, at Del Carmen. Long stretches of wetlands indicate a potential for commercial seaweed propagation. Siargao Island is greatly influenced by the winds and currents coming uninterrupted from the Pacific Ocean, intensified by the Mindanao current running westward through the Siargao Strait.” Source:  http://www.siargaoislands.com/about-siargao

Calatagan Solar Farm

Shoot for ABB Philippines. “The Calatagan Solar Farm is a 63.3 MW solar power plant in Calatagan, Batangas owned by Solar Philippines. It was reported that the groundbreaking for the solar facility was done as early as March 2015. Solar Philippines, a local company, developed the project which cost ₱5.7 billion. The facility was built by 2,500 people in a 160 hectares (400 acres) land near the foot of Mount San Piro. Upon its completion, the solar farm has 200,000 panels. Majority of the funds for the project’s cost was shouldered by the Philippine Business Bank. Banco de Oro, China Bank, and the Bank of Commerce also provided funds.” Source: Wikipedia

Family Portrait Marathon

Random photos from yesterday’s Project Portraithon (Portrait Marathon), a fund raising for Czar’s Support Network. Big thanks to all the families who supported the cause, to my fellow Paparazzis, Richard Estuesta and Reiner Blas and to Ms. Joan Vocalan of The Attic Gallery for styling the event. Most especially, I thank God for giving us a great day. It was tiring and I have to admit that age is creeping up on me, but seeing the photos afterwards put the smile back on my face.

If I have a stylus…

Aside from my camera, a pencil is my next weapon of choice. But my sketching somehow diminished as I grow older. Early this year, I discovered an app in my phone that rekindled my love for sketching. All these drawings were created using Sketchbook for Note5. My stylus is now mightier than a pencil. More artworks can be found in my other Instagram account.
